What is sugar dating?

Sugar dating is where college students (and others) create a profile on websites similar to a dating site. They submit photos and share personal information that will be placed in the site for older men and women to choose from. The arrangements are touted as professional or fun or harmless. According to Trafficking Hope Director Amy Wagar, it is prostitution any time sex is exchanged for money.

What are sugar babies?

According to the leading arrangement website SeekingArrangement, sugar babies are "attractive, ambitious & young at heart. Sugar babies are college students, aspiring actors and actresses, single moms, or someone just starting out".

What are sugar daddies?

Again, to quote from SeekingArrangement, sugar daddies "may be young or old, single or married, but you are generous and successful. You are seeking a mutually beneficial relationship and you have no time for games".

What are dangers of sugar dating?

Amy Wager shares the dangers involved in Sugar dating and the repercussions. Laura Dominique shares how parents can train children at an early age to view their bodies and set boundaries.
